STUDY: Trump supporters 3 TIMES more likely to visit 'fake news' sites

Data shows a vast majority of bogus news published around the election were in support of Trump and read by his voters.

According to Benedict Carey, a writer for the New York Times, fake news had a “wide reach but little impact.”…

Looking at web traffic data from “a representative sample of 2525 Americans who consented to have their online activity monitored anonymously by the survey and analytic firm YouGov,” researchers also found that the vast majority of participants either supported Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton and that “Pro-Trump users were about three times more likely to visit fake news sites supporting their candidate than Clinton partisans were to visit bogus sites supporting her.”
