Stephanopoulos pointed out, however, that the tax break that could reportedly benefit the president and “a handful of other top Republican lawmakers,” had not been “included in either the House or the Senate bill. “It apparently was added at the last minute,” to the final bill, said Stephanopoulos, “Why was that done?”
