Amazing teen adventurer trolls sexists, taunts them with a sandwich

This teen hero served up the PERFECT response!

Ms. Hameister gave a TEDx talk when she was just 16. She discussed her North Pole trekking adventures and goal to inspire people to think outside of gender norms. She said, “As a young woman I live in a world where I am constantly bombarded with messages to be less. To eat less, to wear less, to be skinnier, to shrink my ambitions to fit in...To wait for my Prince Charming to come and save me or to avoid activities that are ‘for boys’.”

In swarmed the sexist trolls stinking up the comments section on the YouTube video of her talk, harassing her on Facebook, and telling her amongst other things, “Good on you sweetie, maybe could find a successful husband and make him a sandwich.” A year later she followed up and delivered a burn to The Concerned Internet Gentleman.

On January 10th, Ms. Hameister made it to the South Pole after an arduous trip that her instructor called one of the toughest in his 25 year career. At age 17 she is the youngest person to complete he trilogy of skiing to both poles and across Greenland. At the South Pole she delivered a message to her harassers. She made a ham and cheese sandwich and held it up for a grinning photo. She posted it online and said, “Now ski 37 days and 600km to the South Pole and you can eat it.”

The unexpected sweet side burn is to the flat earthers. She’s so cool she probably meant to troll them too.
