(AllHipHop Rumors) Earlier this year there was much controversy when Kylie and Kendall Jenner decided to superimpose their images over the faces of legendary music and cultural icons.
One person they tried it with was the late, great Notorious B.I.G.! Biggie's mother Voletta Wallace immediately took to her Instagram [when the shirts came out back in June] to let it be known that the shirts had no affiliation to the Notorious B.I.G. estate! She also called it exploitation!
"I am not sure who told @KylieJenner and @kendalljenner that they had the right to do this. The disrespect of these girls to not even reach out to me or anyone connected to the estate baffles me. I have no idea why they feel they can exploit the deaths of 2pac and my Son Christopher to sell a t-shirt. This is disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!" said Voletta.
Voletta has since let it be known that Kylie and Kendall genuinely apologized.
"Yes they reached out to me and apologized whole heartedly. I asked a few questions, and I got the answers for them," said Wallace.
It's good to see that the Jenner sisters reached out and apologized, and that they were all able to move past this. If Kendall and Kylie somehow didn't know better, Kris Jenner damn sure should have. They are lucky she didn't sue them! Carry on.
