(AllHipHop Rumors) Call em out!
T.I. and Charlamagne Tha God are disappointed in local Houston radio station, 979 The Box, for failing to acknowledge Houston rapper Trae The Truth's generous actions of giving back to those affected by Hurricane Harvey prior to Beyonce's arrival.
Apparently the station has also had a ban on the rapper for years after a shooting took place at one of his events, despite the fact that it was proved that he had nothing to do with the incident.
Both T.I. and Charlamagne took to Instagram to put the station on blast!
"And @Traebn was there too!!! Just like he been there since day 1 doing whatever he can for those in need!!! It ain't cool how yall trying to just overlook his week & 1/2 worth of efforts and shine the light on someone else's. He been frontline rescuing people & out there doing whatever he can for people... We aint gon let yall do our bro like that!!!! This is bigger than radio..... It's bigger than business....This is for Humanity!!!! Y'all bugging!!!! @979thebox," said T.I.
"Petty as f-ck to not include @traebn in this post. He's the first person I reached out to when it came to donating money or resources simply because I know he cares about the community of Houston and would get the money directly to the people. What's going on in Houston is bigger than any radio ban and to post this and not acknowledge the contribution from Trae shows that you aren't even posting this for the right reason. The cause should be bigger than celebrity. The culture of Radio gotta be bigger than this."
What are your thoughts? It sounds like Trae should've never been banned in the first place!!!
