(AllHipHop Rumors) They are hating already!
Rapper Rich Money says Dave East isn't really from East Harlem, and he isn't truly from the hood.
According to Rich, Dave is like a regular dude that got a record deal that now wants to rep Harlem. Rich feels like to rep a place you really had to live there and do something there to represent it.
"He's not from the hood, it's not about showing love, it's about him not being from the hood, he is representing for people who don't know," claims Rich.
Um, if he went to school in Harlem or was raised there, whether he "dipped off" later in life, wouldn't that still mean that he is still from there? I'm just trying to understand dude's logic.
Interestingly enough, Rich said that he spent a lot of time elsewhere, but yet he can still claim Harlem.
I guess it's always ignorant entertainment to see people argue about stupid stuff like blocks that they don't even own. Like you are really mad at someone who is putting on the area.
You ain't made it until some crabby dudes say, "he ain't even from the hood". Congrats to Dave East, because he is officially poppin', although he's been poppin'.
I had a feeling that Dave wasn't going to be able to escape this silly shhhh. SMH. If anything, they should be wanting to collaborate with Dave.
