(AllHipHop Rumors) During an interview with Montreality, French Montanta revealed that he had a joint project on the way with A$AP Rocky!
“Me and Rocky got a project. We’re supposed to be coming out with it real soon,” said French.
The rappers have collaborated in the past on "Said N Done," "Off The Rip (Remix)," "East Coast (Remix)," and "Work (Remix)".
While French is excited about the joint effort, he made it clear that he's extremely excited to see what he and Max B can create together when Max comes home.
"But I would love to see what that energy is like when Max B comes home. Me and him get back in the studio and do a 'Coke Wave' mixtape. I feel like we'd definitely have our shot to drop a real 'Coke Wave' album. I feel like he's in there loading up. I'm in the best shape of my life, he's in the best shape of his life and that energy in there is going to be impeccable." he added.
Montana went on to delve into his longtime relationship with J. Cole, as he revealed that the North Carolina rapper almost executive produced his debut album!
"He almost executive produced my first album ['Excuse My French'] after I played him the music. I think Cole is one of the dopest artists that came out. I just remember when we were in the Club Paradise Tour with Drake and I was working on my first album, and we had "Pop That" and everything. I was playing him my album and he just called me one day like, "Yo French, I would love to help you with the album. Let me executive produce it," said French.
Could you imagine what 'Excuse My French' would've sounded like had J. Cole produced it? Are you here for French's joint project with A$AP?
