Z-Ro Avoids Indictment For Alleged Assault Of Ex-Girlfriend Just Brittany

Celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom announces she's representing the 'Signed' reality show star.

(AllHipHop News) Back in July, Joseph "Z-Ro" McVey was arrested for supposedly assaulting his then-girlfriend "Just Brittany" Bullock. According to reports, a grand jury selected not to indict Z-Ro for the felony charges.

Bullock accused Z-Ro of slapping, punching, and choking her in April. The case made national headlines, partially, because there was said to be a recording of the alleged crime.

Z-Ro's attorney believes his client may have gotten off due to inconsistencies between Brittany's written statement to police and the recording.

At the time the Just Brittany's accusations became public, the aspiring artist was also announced as a cast member of the VH1 reality series Signed. She eventually won a single deal with Rick Ross' Maybach Music Group as a result of her appearance on the show.

Earlier this week, celebrity lawyer Lisa Bloom announced Bullock is her latest client. Bloom recently faced backlash for representing disgraced film producer Harvey Weinstein. She later decided against advising the accused sexual abuser.
