Yo Gotti is reaching into his pockets to pay the funeral costs for a 10-year-old in Memphis.

(AllHipHop News) Rapper Yo Gotti has offered to help cover the funeral costs for a 10-year-old boy from his native Memphis, Tennessee after learning of the tragic circumstances surrounding his death.

Jaheim McKinzie reportedly stabbed himself to death after allegedly suffering a brutal beating at the hands of his mother, Robin. Police officials have since charged her with child abuse, after she confessed to whipping her son with extension cords and choking him, according to local news station Fox 13.

The "Rake It Up" hitmaker was heartbroken by the incident and has reached out to the kid's relatives to help with the expenses of his memorial, according to his manager.

It's not known exactly how much Yo Gotti, real name Mario Mims, will contribute to the cause.
