XXXTentacion Says He's Hosting An Anti-Rape Event At Art Basel

The "Look At Me" rapper appears to be trying to change his public image ahead of battery trial.

(AllHipHop News) Some music fans view XXXTentacion as a problematic figure. The South Florida-based rapper has been accused of abusing a pregnant woman, and he faced backlash for tweeting about having sex with an underage girl.

XXX is attempting to show he really is an advocate for sexual assault victims. The "Look At Me" performer posted a social media video of himself announcing his plans for Miami Beach's Art Basel in December.

The 19-year-old rapper born Jahseh Onfroy said:

At Art Basel this month, I will be hosting an anti-rape event where basically rape victims can come to this event and tell their stories and help others and support others who have been through a similar instance. It''ll be this December. I ask that if you come to the event you come bearing no type of negative energy and you make sure you come with the full support in your heart to those that have experienced any sort of post-traumatic experience or event. I ask that you be understanding.

XXX's mission to rehabilitate his public image also included him pledging to donate over $100,000 to domestic violence prevention programs. His aggravated battery of a pregnant woman, domestic battery by strangulation, false imprisonment, and witness tampering trial is scheduled to begin on December 11, one day after the end of Art Basel (12/7- 12/10).

It's like the KKK having a seminar on improving race relations. 😂
