Usher Denies Claims In Herpes Lawsuit's Second Defense Filing

Usher continues to fight to clear his name over allegations he infected people with herpes.

(AllHipHop News) Usher has filed a new defense denying the allegations in his herpes lawsuit.

Laura Helm accused the Yeah! hitmaker of infecting her with the sexually transmitted disease in July.

She claimed she had two sexual encounters with Usher and alleged the father-of-two didn't wear a condom.

After their second tryst, Helm claimed she noticed a bump on the inside of her mouth and a similar bump on her vagina.

The singer has previously denied Helm's claims and in a new filing, he insists she could have contracted the disease from a different sexual partner.

"With a one in six chance that any given partner could have genital herpes, (she) assumed the risk of contracting an STD each and every time she chose to have unprotected sex with a casual, consensual partner," the filing reads, according to TMZ.
