Tyler, The Creator Helped Create The Theme Song For Netflix’s ‘Bill Nye Saves The World’ (VIDEO)

Longtime television personality Bill Nye (aka The Science Guy) is taking his talents to Netflix for a new show.

(AllHipHop News) Bill Nye Saves the World is set to arrive on the streaming platform on April 21.

“I’m excited to be working with Netflix on a new show, where we’ll discuss the complex scientific issues facing us today, with episodes on vaccinations, genetically modified foods and climate change,” said Nye in a press release. “With the right science and good writing, we’ll do our best to enlighten and entertain our audience. And, perhaps we’ll change the world a little.”

One of rap music’s most otherworldly stars is supplying music for the series.

Odd Future’s Tyler, The Creator is responsible for the theme song to Bill Nye Saves the World.

Nye became a favorite of 1990’s era young science fans thanks to his Emmy-winning Bill Nye the Science Guy.

Tyler and Nye appeared together in a video posted to Twitter where they talked about the original syndicated television show.

“It would come on on Saturday morning before the cartoons. My favorite part was the location. It was always this random – you never really knew where the wall ended. I always thought that was tight,” said Tyler about the initial Bill Nye science program which ran for five seasons on PBS.
