Tyga Facing Arrest Warrant Over Failure To Pay Damages

The law is looking to arrest Tyga for failing to pay out in another lawsuit.

(AllHipHop News) Tyga is reportedly facing an arrest warrant over his failure to pay $250,000 in compensation to a fan injured at one of his concerts.

The "Rack City" rapper's company Tyga Music, LLC, was ordered by a judge to pay damages of $236,000 to Shyanne Riekena in 2016, after she sustained head trauma and back injuries at a concert in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

According to reports, a bench warrant has been issued for Tyga's arrest due to his failure to show up in court to agree a plan to pay a sum that has increased to more than $250,000 with interest.

Shyanne sued the 28-year-old star in 2015, claiming she was left with a four-inch gash on her head and back injuries when a light stand fell on her at a gig held at The Intersection venue in 2012.

"I know that Tyga has a lot going on right now with other people but my situation happened five years ago so on the list of priority wise I should be taken care of," Shyanne Riekena said. "This was a big incident, it caused a lot of chaos in my life and it's been five years, so he needs to take this serious."

The judgment is one of a string of financial claims made against Tyga, real name Michael Ray Stevenson.

Last March he was ordered to pay $65,000 after failing to appear at a gig and in 2016 he had to settle a $200,000 jewelry debt.

He has also been accused of failing to pay car lease debts and falling behind on child support payments to Blac Chyna, the mother of his five-year-old son King Cairo.
