(AllHipHop News) People connected to the Oakland rapper claim the accusations are false.

Sources connected with the rapper tell us Short insists he never had sexual contact with the alleged victim. The sources say she was on his record label but he dropped her and that’s when she concocted the allegation. The sources add she subsequently asked to get back on the label and Short views this as a form of extortion.
As one of the pioneers of West Coast rap, Too $hort has released over a dozen studio albums in his career.
His brand of Hip Hop includes lyrics about pimping and sex.
$hort also opened the $1 million Digital BoomBox studio and facility in LA, in part, to assist rising artists.
“What we’re really about is the art of artist development [that] has just been thrown away because of social media … major labels find talent by just surfing the internet to see who’s already hot,” said Short in a recent interview with Forbes.
