Teyana Taylor Lands Role In "Hit The Floor"

(AllHipHop News) Singer Teyana Taylor is racking up her acting credentials after landing a role on TV drama series "Hit The Floor."

The R&B star and model, who showed off her impressive dance moves in Kanye West's "Fade" video, will join the cast of the cheerleader show for its upcoming fourth season, which will air on U.S. network BET next year.

Details of her role have yet to be revealed, but she will feature alongside regulars Dean Cain, Kimberly Elise, Jodi Lyn O'Keefe, McKinley Freeman, and Katherine Bailess, reports Deadline.com.

Production is due to begin in November.

It's the latest screen project for Teyana - she also recently signed on to star in new Netflix film "The After Party" alongside actor Blair Underwood.

Rappers French Montana and Wiz Khalifa have also booked roles in the movie, which is being produced by hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons.
