Pharrell Williams Says Hi Eco Track WIll Be Locked Away For 100 Years

Pharrell is thinking about a whole different generation with a song stored in an underground vault.

(AllHipHop News) Pharrell Williams has recorded a song fans won't hear for 100 years.

The hitmaker has created "100 Years: The Song We’ll Only Hear If We Care," which will be stored in an underground vault until 2117.

It will only be released if humanity takes care of the earth in the future.

The "Happy" singer recorded the track onto a clay and stored it in a safe that is only destructible when submerged in water.

If sea levels continue to rise due to climate change, the song will be lost forever.

Before it was locked away for a century, 100 people had the chance to listen to the track at an exclusive event in Shanghai, China, hosted by Global Executive Director of Louis XIII Ludovic du Plessis.

Actresses Ashley Greene, Pom Klementeiff, photographer Ellen Von Unwerth, and model Jourdan Dunn were among the invited guests.
