(AllHipHop News) Stormey Courtney Coleman pled guilty in a Melbourne Magistrates Court for recklessly causing serious injury, intentionally causing injury, recklessly causing injury, and unlawful assault according to theage.com.
Coleman was accused of grabbing his then girlfriend’s hair and punching her in the ear and cheek during a fight last June. The assault caused the woman to suffer temporary hearing loss and anxiety which prevented her from working. She regained her hearing three months after the incident.
The Magistrate sentenced Coleman to six days in custody, but because he had been locked up for a week it was ruled he completed his time. He must also serve a 12-month community corrections order with conviction, participate in a violence prevention program, and complete 150 hours of unpaid community work.
Stormey appeared on the Outlawz/dead prez collaborative album Can’t Sell Dope Forever. He was also included on the posthumous 2Pac LP Pac’s Life.
Coleman currently lives in Australia after apparently leaving the United States to avoid the violence that had killed four of his brothers.
