(AllHipHop News) The rape case involving Nelly adds a new turn. Karen Koehler, the alleged victim's lawyer, is now claiming the rapper and his attorney Scott Rosenblum are attempting to intimidate the woman.
"It is morally reprehensible for an accused person and his bully lawyer to issue derogatory and defamatory statements against a young alleged rape victim," wrote Koehler in a letter to prosecutors.
She even contends those supposed actions are illegal in the state of Washington. Koehler specifically pointed to Rosenblum saying, "It does not surprise me that [the alleged victim] wanted to have her story publicized. That is playbook 101 of a person with an agenda and clearly she has one. The agenda is money, fame and notoriety."
Rosenblum addressed Koehler's intimidation claims. He told TMZ, "I would suggest rereading the [intimidating a witness] statute. I would further suggest talking to some of the unbiased witnesses."
Nelly has maintained his innocence. His lawyer plans to continue publicly addressing the sexual assault accusations.
"Let me say that I am beyond shocked that I have been targeted with this false allegation. I am completely innocent. I am confident that once the facts are looked at, it will be very clear that I am the victim of a false allegation," tweeted the "Hot In Herre" performer.
