Neil Young Collaborates With D.R.A.M. For "Bright" Soundtrack

A rock legend is teaming with a rapper for the soundtrack to Will Smith's new movie "Bright."

(AllHipHop News) Rapper D.R.A.M. is set to finally unveil his unlikely collaboration with rock veteran Neil Young on the soundtrack to Will Smith's new movie "Bright."

The tracklist for the film was announced on Thursday and fans were quick to spot "Campfire," a tune D.R.A.M. previously teased last year.

Explaining how the odd pairing came about, he told Brooklyn Magazine he was at producer Rick Rubin's Shangri-La Studios in New York when Young stopped by.

"(Neil) worked on one of his records, he worked on one of my records," he said at the time, stopping short of sharing information about which project the song was for.

Now it's been confirmed the duet will be featured on the release for Bright, with the album also including songs by Tom Morello, Migos, A$AP Rocky, and Ty Dolla $ign, among other artists.

The soundtrack is due to hit retailers on December 13, while the fantasy film will premiere on streaming service Netflix on December 22.
