(AllHipHop News) Women's March co-chair Tamika Mallory and activist/emcee Mysonne stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk about her recently being kicked off an American Airlines flight for possible racial reasons. In addition, they discussed ways to fight injustice, holding people in power accountable, and investing in African-American communities.
While at the radio station, Mysonne was also asked about the recent debate surrounding his 2017 BET Hip-Hop Awards cypher performance versus Eminem's highly publicized verse on the show. The New Yorker shared his opinion on the matter.
"I feel mine was underrated. I don't know if I feel his was overrated because I'm an Eminem fan. I think he did utilize his platform to say something that was needed," stated Mysonne. "In this time, we definitely need white allies to come to our aid and utilize their voices to mirror what we're saying. Just being compared to Em was phenomenal."
