LL Cool J, Rage Against The Machine Nominated For Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

LL Cool J and Rage Against the Machine could get into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year.

(AllHipHop News) Rap legend LL Cool J has been nominated to be inducted the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

It is not the first time LL has been nominated for the honor.

He went up for possible inclusion for the first time in 2009 but has not managed to make it in, while acts like Run-D.M.C., Public Enemy, N.W.A., and Tupac have made it in since that year.

This year, Rage Against the Machine is nominated for the first time, along with the Moody Blues, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, The Eurythmics and Kate Bush.

To be eligible for nomination, an individual artist or band must have released its first commercial recording at least 25 years prior to the year of induction.

The 2018 Nominees had to release their first official recording no later than 1992.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2018 inductees are slated to be announced in December, while the event will be held in Cleveland, in April 2018.
