(AllHipHop News) The son of late rapper Eazy-E isn’t giving up his face so easily, over the legendary Ruthless Records trademark.
Eric “Lil Eazy-E” Wright has filed a counter-lawsuit against Tomica Woods-Wright in a battle over the trademark to use the name.
Tomica Woods-Wright filed a lawsuit against Lil Eazy in August, claiming he was selling counterfeit Ruthless material.
The lawsuit also claimed Lil Eazy was operating his company under the name “Ruthlessrecordsco“ in further violation of the Ruthless trademark.
Lil Eazy has finally responded to the lawsuit, claiming Tomica Woods-Wright has abandoned the original Ruthless trademark.
Lil Eazy also claims Tomica Woods-Wright made false and fraudulent claims to deceive the United States trademark office, while simultaneously accusing Tomiko Woods-Wright of “fraudulent activity prior to obtaining the registrations.“
