FOX Accused Of Unjust Enrichment For Shooting "Empire" At A Juvenile Detention Center In Chicago

Fox is accused of shady business after making juvenile prisoners suffer while they shot scenes for "Empire."

(AllHipHop News) FOX and the hit series "Empire" could be found liable for damages, after shooting episodes in a juvenile detention facility.

FOX is accused of unjust enrichment for shooting scenes for the show inside of the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center.

Last year, relatives of incarcerated juvenile inmates filed a class lawsuit class-action lawsuit against Fox.

The juvenile prisoners were subjected to a total lockdown when FOX was filming the episode of "Empire" at the facility.

Some inmates were forced to sit in pods for days at a time as Producer shot scenes for the show.

According to reports, a judge dismissed a portion of the claims in the class action lawsuit but ruled there was enough evidence to show FOX profited from the two episodes that were shot at the Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center.

The Cook County Juvenile Temporary Detention Center has been plagued with problems as well.

In 2008, a federal administrator took over the facility over the mistreatment of the child inmates.
