(AllHipHop News) Dr. Dre waited 16 years to release a follow-up to 1999's 2001 album. It was expected that the legendary producer/rapper would drop the long-delayed Detox at that time, but fans got the Straight Outta Compton movie companion project Compton instead.
According to ESPN's Chris Haynes, Dre could still release the fabled LP. The NBA reporter spoke with the Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer about Detox potentially remaining in the vault.
On Tuesday, Haynes tweeted, "I asked Dr. Dre if Detox is permanently shelved and he replied, 'I’m working on a couple songs right now. We’ll see.'"
