Beyonce And Pharrell Selling Merchandise In Aid Of Charity

Beyonce and Pharrell are doing the right thing with a new effort to raise money for The Lung Transplant Project.

(AllHipHop News) Beyonce is auctioning off the iconic black hat she wore on her Formation world tour to raise funds for The Lung Transplant Project.

The 36-year-old singer autographed the wide-brimmed headpiece with the message, "All my love - Beyonce" and donated it to bosses at the U.S. medical charity to put it up for sale.

Fans can place bids online at the Heritage Auctions website from Monday (November 6), and bosses at the online auctioneer expect the hat to sell for as much as $2,000.

The proceeds of the sale will help charity bosses step up their efforts to reduce lung transplant waiting times and help patients recover from the procedure.

Beyonce has been joined by Pharrell Williams, 44, in helping raise funds for the charity, as the "Happy" singer is auctioning off two pairs of Adidas trainers.

One pair is an exclusive pink "Friends & Family" design from his Pharrell and the Three Stripes range. He has signed the sneakers and scrawled an inspirational message to its prospective new owner on each shoe.

His words on the right sneaker read, "LET THE UNIVERSE IN / PLEASE DON'T MAKE EXCUSES / IS COMING / OPEN YOUR EYES / SUPPORT OUR WOMEN'S".

On the left shoe he adds, "WE ARE NOTHING WITHOUT GOD / THE UNIVERSE IS ONE / RIGHTS ARE HUMAN RIGHTS / THE LIGHT".

A second pair will be custom-made for the highest bidder before being signed by Pharrell.

Valuers at Heritage Auctions estimate that the trainers will sell for between $1,000 and $2,000.
