(AllHipHop News)Rapper Jay-Z payed homage to Linkin Park’s lead singer Chester Bennington, who committed suicide last month.
Jay was the headliner at during a rainy day, at the V Festival over in the UK, and he performed his song “Numb/Encore” as a tribute to the late artist, who died at the age of 41.
“Tonight we are going to dedicate this song to Chester,” the rapper said, before dedicating his song “Forever Young” to Dick Gregory “and all the beautiful people that we have lost. Their energy is never gone.”
Jay-Z went on to perform a 90 minute from his deep catalog, in addition to playing songs off his latest album, “4.44.”
Jay took to the stage for a second show at Essex's Hylands Park on Sunday today (August 20).
According to reports, the rapper arrived in a luxury, multi-million dollar Sikorsky S-92 helicopter, along with 30 bodyguards in tow.
