(AllHipHop News) In a new edition of Mass Appeal's "Open Space" video series, G Herbo sits down to talk about growing up in the "Terror Town" neighborhood of Chicago.
The creator of the upcoming Humble Beast album also discusses Drill Music, uplifting the youth in his hometown, and how he sees himself as an artist.
"I'm a Hip Hop student. I study lyricism. I appreciate music," said Herbo.
He also addressed escaping the street life.
The 21-year-old added, "You can always overcome the streets. It's easy. It's not hard. But if you're in the streets and don't know what comes with the streets, the streets gonna eat you alive."
