Joyner Lucas and Young RJ Drop “Motion” featuring Joyner Lucas & Statik Selektah

Detroit rapper Young RJ drops the visuals for his new single "Motion" featuring some heavyweights.

Continuing with his well received solo project, ‪Detroit emcee and producer, Young RJ, premieres his new video called, “Motion.”

Young RJ enlists some A level features to assist in bringing this mid-tempo, yet melodic banger to life. RJ grabbed NYC's Joyner Lucas and DJ Statik Selektah and together they created a track under the production skills of RJ and the late Jay Dee aka J Dilla.

The additional vocals heard on the hook is completed by Big Sean's right hand Earlly Mac and newcomer Drey Skonie. You can hear all the undertones of what each artist brings to the table, once you press play.

“When you dealing with time you know you never can wait..that's the concept of Motion. The symbolism in the video, will mean different things to different people and that's what makes it dope," Young RJ said.

The video was shot in Detroit, after a Joyner Lucas show, close to the staple venue, El Bar. The director, Diego, put black and white visuals together that tells an abstract story, that can be taken, different ways, by different viewers. Everyone showed up to the shoot.

In addition to Young RJ, Joyner Lucas, and Earlly Mac starring in the video.. look for cameo appearances from Supakaine, an indie artist emerging from Detroit.
